The club officials wished her good luck for the upcoming Miss World Universe competition.
Manika has come to spend some time with her family.
Manika was honoured in a simple, but emotional programme organised at her residence. Club president Naurang Rai Garg, secretary Sanjay Bansal, cashier Ramesh Kumar Bansal and other officials reached her house and presented a memento and a shawl. They congratulated her on winning the title of Miss India Universe and wished she would return to Sriganganagar after winning the Miss World Universe competition.
Reacting to this, Manika said that her hometown and family have always been a source of inspiration for her. She said that winning the title is like a dream come true for her.
The Miss World Universe competition is going to be organised in Thailand on November 21.
Lions Club officials appealed to the city residents to pray for her success.
