MoD to give cash prizes to players

New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced cash incentive for the armed forces’ personnel who won medals in the 19th Asian Games and the 4th Asian Para Games held in Hangzhou, China, last year. The ministry will give Rs 25 lakh to gold medallists, Rs 15 lakh to silver medal winners and Rs 10 lakh to bronze medallists. The cash prize will be same for both able-bodied and para athletes.
