Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a broadside at the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu on Monday as he continued his South India outreach in a bid to woo voters on the 18th general election eve.

“The Supreme Court on Monday posed some tough questions to those who insult the faith of others. Insulting the faith of crores is a characteristic trait of the dynasts,” PM said in veiled swipes at DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin, who had earlier made disparaging references for the Sanatan Dharma.
The PM, who arrived in Chennai for a public meeting late on Monday after a visit to Telangana’s Adilabad, said the opposition INDI bloc had invented a new formula to abuse him.
At Kalpakkam in Tamil Nadu, Modi visited India’s first indigenous Fast Breeder Reactor (500 MWe).

On Tuesday, PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth more than Rs 6,800 crore, besides addressing another rally in Sangareddy, about 60 km from Hyderabad.
The PM also thanked Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for finding time to come for his programme in Telangana’s Adilabad. “PM, according to us, means elder brother,” Reddy said.
