Neither UPA nor NDA could tackle unemployment: Rahul in Lok Sabha

Says PM Modi tried and conceptually ‘Make in India’ was a good idea but it is clear that he failed

Participating in a discussion on President’s address in the Budget Session, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday said both the UPA and NDA were unable to tackle unemployment.

He said, “I heard pretty much the same address this time as the one delivered last time and the time before that. Same laundry list of things the government has done.

“We have not been able to tackle unemployment; neither the UPA nor the NDA has given a clear-cut answer to the youth about employment.”

PM Narendra Modi tried and conceptually ‘Make in India’ was a good idea but it is clear that he failed, Rahul said.
