Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the terrorist organisations that attacked India's dignity and carried out the Pahalgam terror attack had been brought to justice through Operation Sindoor.

He said that adhering to the policy of zero tolerance to terrorism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that this is a new India that will take effective action against terrorism on both sides of the border.

The minister was speaking at the launch of a facility to test the BrahMos missile in Lucknow.

“We have shown that when India takes action against terrorism, even the territory across the border is not safe for terrorists and their masters,” he added.

The entire nation is applauding the Indian Army for Operation Sindoor which, he said, is not just a military operation, as it symbolises India's political, social and strategic willpower. “The operation demonstrates India's firm resolve against terrorism and showcases the capability and determination of our military might,” he said.

“We didn't just target military installations near the border, but the Indian Army's presence was felt as far as Rawalpindi, where the Pakistani Army's headquarters is located,” the minister said in reference to the Indian Air Force strike at the Nur Khan base at Chaklala, Rawalpindi.
