Paras Defence and Space Technologies on Thursday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel-based MicroCon Vision Ltd, a subsidiary of the Rafael Group, for the supply of advanced cameras for drones.

Paras Defence stated that the collaboration would enhance indigenous content in drone cameras and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) payloads, improving self-reliance while reducing costs.

As part of the agreement, MicroCon Vision will serve as the exclusive supplier of drone cameras for Paras Defence.

India’s drone market is projected to grow at a rate of 17 per cent by 2029, driven by increasing demand from the defence, homeland security, disaster management and industrial sectors.
