Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday evening called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The meeting followed Prime Minister Modi's return from what India called a "productive visit" to the US and France and ahead of the government formation in Delhi.

The President House shared pictures of the meeting between the two leaders on X.

"Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan," said a post from the President House X handle.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
