This will be his first address to the country since May 12 after the Indian military concluded a successful Operation Sindoor targeting terror hubs in Pakistan.

In his last address on May 12, PM Modi The PM had said “every terrorist knows the consequences of wiping Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters.”

“Operation Sindoor is an unwavering pledge for justice. Terrorists dared to wipe the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters; that’s why India destroyed the very headquarters of terror,” he had said then.

He also said Pakistan had prepared to strike at India’s borders, but India hit them right at their core.

Calling Operation Sindoor a “new benchmark” in the fight against terror, PM Modi said, “This is not an era of war, but it is not an era of terrorism either. Zero tolerance against terrorism is the guarantee of a better world.”

He added that any future talks with Pakistan would focus on terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Further details of today’s address are awaited.
