Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday said the allegations of removing the Preamble to the Constitution from NCERT textbooks were baseless as he accused the Congress of playing politics in the name of children. He said it was for the first time, under the National Education Policy that the NCERT had given due importance to various aspects of the Constitution like Preamble and fundamental duties in textbooks. — TNS
