Indian Army’s Honorary Captain Bana Singh, a Param Vir Chakra awardee, has been hospitalised at the Army Hospital Research and Referral in New Delhi. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the ailing Bana Singh. Honorary Captain Bana Singh of the J&K Light Infantry had extraordinary valour in Siachen on June 23, 1987. He led his team to clear enemy intrusions at a towering altitude of 21,000 ft.
