Funds released for flood-hit Gujarat, Manipur, Tripura

The Centre on Monday approved the release of Rs 600 crore to Gujarat, Rs 50 crore to Manipur, and Rs 25 crore to Tripura as part of the Central share from the State Disaster Response Fund and as an advance from the National Disaster Response Fund.

Inter-Ministerial Central Teams will be dispatched to assess the damages in Bihar and West Bengal. — TNS/PTI
