Radhakrishnan, who is representing India at the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Patrick Herminie, was accorded a warm welcome by members of the Indian community upon his arrival.
Addressing the gathering, the Vice-President lauded the “long-standing and multi-faceted ties” between India and Seychelles and praised the Indian diaspora for serving as a “bridge of friendship and cooperation” between the two countries. He also met Mauritian Prime Minister Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, who is in Seychelles for the swearing-in ceremony.
