Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) leader Supriya Sule on Saturday slammed Air India over repeated delays, calling the trend “unacceptable”. Tagging Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu in a post on X, she urged stricter regulations to hold airlines accountable.

“I was traveling on Air India flight AI0508, which was delayed by 1 hour and 19 minutes — part of a continuous trend affecting passengers. This is unacceptable,” she wrote, demanding better service standards.

Sule further criticised the airline for frequent delays despite passengers paying premium fares. “Professionals, children and senior citizens all suffer due to this constant mismanagement,” she added.  Air India has not yet responded to her remarks.
