Tewari slams BJP for politicising terror over Chidambaram’s 26/11 comments

Tewari had also termed the Chidambaram’s “revelations” a matter of “serious concern”, the BJP spokesperson said, citing media reports.
In a post on X, the Chandigarh MP asked the NDA government if its “coercive kinetic actions against Pakistan” in the past decade had a salutary effect, why successive terror attacks triggered by Pakistan took place.
He went on to list 12 Pakistan-sponsored terror attacks that took place in India during the NDA’s regime since 2014.
He also mentioned the May 2014 attack on the Indian Consulate in Afghanistan, which took place just 72 hours before Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister in his first term.
“It was followed by July 27, 2015 attack in Dina Nagar in Gurdaspur. Perpetrated by suspected Pakistan-based militants, it killed 10 persons and injured 15.
He further highlighted the siege at the Pathankot Air Force Station in January 2016; attack on J&K’s Pampore on June 25, 2016; attack on the army camp in Uri in September 2016;
2017 attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims; suicide bombing in Pulwama in 2019, 2023 attacks in Rajouri; 2024 attack on pilgrim bus in Reasi; and the recent Pahalgam killings.
