The meeting was called to ensure coordination between the allies during the winter session of the Parliament that started today. While the TMC floor leaders are away in Kolkata to participate in the party’s National Working Group meeting, they didn’t even send a representative, said an opposition MP.

Representatives from the SP, DMK, NCP(SP), AAP, CPM, CPI, IUML, RSP, Kerala Congress, RJD, MDMK, CPI(ML) (L) and Bharat Adivasi Party were present.

Following the Congress’ dismal performance in Maharashtra, Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee has demanded that the INDIA bloc leadership be entrusted to TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee.
