The Congress on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Modi government on the occasion of the completion of first 100 days of the regime’s third term and dubbed it ‘U-turn sarkar’ for its failures and policy reversals.

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said the period could be called “100 days of instability, indecisiveness, and immaturity”. She criticised the government’s handling of the economy, which she described as being in “dire straits”. “The airports inaugurated by Narendra Modi — from Jabalpur to Delhi and Rajkot — could not even withstand a single monsoon,” Shrinate said. “There have been 38 railway accidents in 100 days, resulting in 21 deaths,” she said.
