Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar admitted to AIIMS-Delhi
Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 73, was admitted to AIIMS here on Sunday after experiencing chest pain. He was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of AIIMS at 2 am. A team under Dr Rajiv Narang, head of department of Cardiology, AIIMS.
The Vice-President was stable and under observation, said institute sources, adding that a group of doctors was monitoring his condition.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Dhankhar at AIIMS. “Went to AIIMS and enquired about the health of Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar ji. I pray for his good health and speedy recovery,” Modi said. Earlier in the day, Union Health Minister JP Nadda also visited the Vice-President.
