A 43-year-old man allegedly unleashed his Pit Bull on an 11-year-old boy, Hamza.

The dog bit the child on the chin while the owner, Mohammad Sohail Hasan, watched and laughed from the front seat of an auto-rickshaw.

A video of the incident shows the frightened boy trying to escape as the dog attacked him. Bystanders reportedly recorded the scene, but did not intervene.

The police have filed a case against Hasan under sections 291 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for negligence and causing hurt.
