He said that the new Waqf law was not only related to the Muslim community, but was an attack on the Constitution of India. The members of the Qaumi Tanzeem would not allow such an attack on the Constitution, he added.

A meeting of the All-India Qaumi Tanzeem Council was held in New Delhi regarding the Waqf Act, in which several prominent Muslim leaders took part.

Meanwhile, following the meeting of the All-India Qaumi Tanzeem Council, senior Congress MP Tariq Anwar said, “Today, a meeting of the All-India Qaumi Tanzeem Council was held, in which we have passed some resolutions regarding the ongoing issues of the nation. We discussed the Waqf (Amendment) Act-2025, caste census, protection of vulnerable communities and protection of religious places.”
