Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday received the invitation to attend the January 22 Ram Mandir inauguration but said he would visit the temple for prayers after the ‘Pran pratishtha’.

In a letter to Champat Rai of the Ram Temple Trust, Akhilesh expressed thanks for the invitation.

“After the Pran pratishtha our whole family will come to offer prayers at the temple,” Yadav said wishing success for the consecration ceremony.
