Aiming to dismantle the terror network in Kishtwar, the district police have attached the properties of 11 terrorists who are absconding and currently residing in Pakistan. The action follows an investigation into a case registered under various sections of the IPC and the UAPA.

Kishtwar SSP Javaid Iqbal Mir said the legal proceedings, led by DSP Vishal Sharma, culminated in the involvement of the NIA Special Court in Doda. Earlier, the court had declared 36 Kishtwar-based terrorists, operating from Pakistan and PoK, as absconders. Of these, the properties of 11 terrorists have been identified and attached under legal provisions. The attached properties span 52 Kanals 8.875 Marlas, located in Kishtwar.
