The raids were conducted to know if the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack had stayed in Doda district. Police teams searched the houses of OGWs and terror associates who had remained directly involved with the ultras in the past.

The police teams, along with the forensic experts, reached the homes of the OGWs in the morning and searched the belongings. While nothing incriminating was found at the locations, the police inspected the mobile phones of the OGWs and their family members. Some suspected locations were also inspected by the police to ascertain if the ultras had stayed in the area.
