In a historic decision for development of J&K, 20 districts have been granted capital expenditure of Rs 22,126.93 crore for 2022-23 by the L-G, officials said. They said the UT had completed 51,891 projects last fiscal. —

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
