The placement cell of University of Jammu (JU), in collaboration with Century Bank Brokers (CBB), Dubai, organised a two-day placement drive for students on Saturday and Sunday at the university.

Candidates across different departments and offsite campuses and other affiliated institutions participated in the drive. The drive was conducted from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on both days in the Department of EVS and Remote Sensing.

“Century Bank Brokers is a reputed Dubai-based financial services firm and is renowned for its expertise in acquiring asset and liability products for banks including credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, retail and SME accounts for CASA and FD and commercial lending products. The drive offered lucrative career opportunities, providing candidates a choice to pursue their professional career in an attractive global work environment in Dubai,” a spokesperson of the university said.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 500 students out of which 400 students were shortlisted for the final round. Interviews were conducted in different phases by a team of more than 10 experts from Century Bank Brokers. Faculty representatives from different departments, off-site campuses and other affiliated institutions also participated in the drive, extending mentorship and guidance to students throughout the process.
