Reasi February 14

At-least 50 persons, including several children, were taken ill after consuming food served after a religious function at Reasi’s Panassa village today. Official sources said the incident took place at Panassa village in Thakrakot teshil of Reasi district where a religious function was held.

Chief Medical Officer, Reasi, Dr Prittam Thakur said 20 persons who were seriously ill, including five children, were admitted to Reasi district hospital for treatment, while nearly 30 were treated at Panassa Primary health centre and were discharged after treatment.
