The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted searches at nine locations in J&K in connection with the LoC trade case, officials said.

The searches were carried at seven places in Srinagar and two locations in south Kashmir.

In Srinagar, the premises of Mohammad Iqbal Lone and Khursheed Ahmad Lone of Parimpora, Zahoor Ahmad Bhar of Wazirbagh, Fazal-ul-Haq Misgar and Arif Hassan Misgar of Chattabal, Safakadal, Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh and Javed Ahmad Sheikh of Buchpora were searched.

The premises of Tajammal Masoodi and Musadiq Afzal Masoodi were searched in Awantipora, Pulwama.

“Several digital devices and incriminating documents have been seized. Further investigation in the case is continuing,” an NIA official said. — TNS
