J&K recorded 95 fresh Covid cases on Sunday that took the infection tally to 3,31,062. No fresh Covid-related death was reported in the Union Territory in the past 24 hours, officials said. The death toll stands at 4,426.

5 cases in Ladakh

Five fresh Covid cases were detected in Ladakh, taking the overall virus tally in the Union Territory to 20,876 and active cases to 46. No new death case has been seen in J&K as well as Ladakh.

Of the fresh cases, 14 were from Jammu division and 81 from Kashmir division.

There are 843 active cases, while the overall recoveries have reached 3,25,793. There were 47 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the Union Territory, according to officials.

Five fresh Covid cases were detected in Ladakh, taking the overall virus tally to 20,876 and active cases to 46. Ladakh has registered 208 Covid-related deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic last year.

As many as 2,560 persons were tested for Covid in the twin districts on Saturday and five of them were found positive in Leh.

A Covid patient was discharged from a hospital in Leh, thereby taking the number of recoveries in the Union Territory to 20,621. The active cases are 46.

The officials said no death was reported due to Covid in Ladakh on Saturday.— PTI
