The authorities have failed to repair the road from the security point to the Srinagar international airport, giving a tough time to travellers. There are deep potholes on the road. This is shameful that the government has not fixed the roads. Two days ago, I was travelling to the airport while it was raining. Lack of public transport

THE lack of public transport in most of the localities of Srinagar is giving a hard time to residents. Despite waiting for hours, there are hardly any buses in the evening from Soura and Buchpora. The government must improve the public transport system as it is more difficult for women to wait during late hours. While the government makes tall claims about women empowerment but we are still struggling for even basic rights on a daily basis. Bisma Jan, Soura
