An army captain died due to “medical reasons” inside a military camp in Jammu, officials reported on Sunday.

Captain Rudra Pratap Singh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, collapsed at the Akhnoor military garrison late on Saturday. He was immediately rushed to a hospital, but despite efforts, he succumbed to his condition during treatment.

Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding of the Jammu-based White Knight Corps, led troops in extending condolences to the officer’s family.
