Jammu, April 15

The Army has provided food, water and other basic amenities to labourers stranded at Dogrian while travelling from Srinagar to Thanamandi via Poshana.

These daily wagers ran out of food, water and other essentials due to the lockdown. The Army provided them with supplies, including rations, water, soap, medicines and protection kits, consisting of masks, gloves and hand sanitisers.

The labourers were also provided with hot food and tea. They were also educated on precautionary measures to prevent Covid. These people were later shifted to a quarantine facility established by the civil administration. They thanked the Army for providing help.
