Jammu: The Army on Thursday dedicated a 100-ft high national flag installed here to the people in Kishtwar district, a defence spokesperson said. 1,100-kg poppy straw seized, 3 arrested in Jammu, Kathua

Jammu: A team of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force seized 600-kg poppy straw from a truck in Jammu. Nasir Farooq and Mohammad Amin Rather were arrested. In Kathua, 573-kg poppy straw was found in an oil tanker in Rajbagh. Driver Shawkat Ali was arrested. OC

Two doctors suspended

Jammu: Two doctors were suspended for “absence” in Poonch after a woman died in the Surankote hospital recently. Her kin had blamed doctors’ absence for the death.
