Baldev Raina is new PHD chamber chief

Baldev Singh Raina has been appointed the new chairman of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kashmir chapter (PHDCCI), while hotelier Mushtaq Chaya will be the mentor of the business body.

“Baldev Singh Raina was appointed as the new chairman of the PHDCCI, Kashmir chapter. His appointment was conferred by Dr DK Aggarwal, national president, PHDCCI. Also, Zahoor Ahmad Tramboo and Arshad Nizam Shawl were appointed as co-chairmen of the Kashmir chapter. Former chairman of the Kashmir chapter Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya was appointed as mentor for the Kashmir chapter,” said a statement issued by the PHD chamber after its annual executive committee meeting held here on Tuesday.

Welcoming the new chairman, Chaya said, “I have been involved with the PHD chamber for several years and I want to appreciate everyonewho has supported Baldev Singh Raina.”
