Body of another missing youth found in Kulgam
The police on Sunday recovered the body of another youth who had gone missing along with two others in Kulgam district last month.
Officials said the body of Showkat Ahmad was recovered from Veshow Nallah in Mah area of Kulgam district—the same area from where the body of another missing youth was recovered on Thursday. Officials said preliminary investigations point to death by drowning as the likely reason. No injury marks were found on the body.
On February 13, three Gujjar youth had gone missing after they left Ashmuji, Kulgam to attend a function. They were identified as Riyaz Ahmad, Showkat and Mukhtar Ahmad Awan, all of Kulgam.
