Poonch DC Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to discuss the arrangements for the annual Budha Amarnath Yatra which is scheduled to commence from July 27.

At the outset, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik briefed the participants on the preparations being made. Budha Amarnath temple is located in Mandi area of Poonch.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
