Buta Nagar roads in bad condition
Many interior roads connecting various residential colonies of Buta Nagar to the main Bantalab road are in a dilapidated condition. For the past several years, the roads and buildings department has not blacktopped the roads. Residents had approached the Municipal Corporators concerned but they express their helplessness. The administration should take steps to improve the basic infrastructure. Sanjeev Raina, Buta Nagar
A big drain at Dogra Chowk needs regular cleaning as it is the main reason for flooding in the area during heavy rain. Although the civic authorities have constructed a big drain to ensure smooth flow of sewage, plastic and polythene waste clogs the drain. We request the sanitation staff of the Jammu Municipal Corporation to regularly clean the drain to prevent blockade. Sardari Lal, Jewel resident

Driving to Lal Chowk has become difficult post the abrogation of Article 370 last year as security forces have set up bunkers and installed barricades and concertina wires at many places in the city, constricting the road space for motorists. The city has a huge vehicle population and an already existing traffic problem. The authorities concerned should take note of this. Mariya, Karanagar resident
LPG home delivery disrupted
There is a shortage of LPG in the market. We have contacted the LPG delivery guy and have also visited their office but to no avail. The LPG home delivery service has also been disrupted in many areas for the past many months and people have to go to the office of the agencies to see if they could get their refills. The supply should be made smooth as it used to be earlier and people should get their refills on their doorstep. Amir, Rawalpora resident
