The competition saw participation from students of Himalayan Public School and Good Will Public School, Dharmari in Reasi district. A total of 21 children actively participated in the competition. The aim of the event was to develop and motivate the children towards education, sportsmanship and to build competitive spirit among the children for future endeavors. The event was followed by prize distribution.
Army organises motivational talk
With the aim to uplift youth of the region, the Army organised a motivational talk ‘ Join Army’ at the Youth Centre, Chhatral in Poonch district. The lecture brought awareness about the career in the Army, Navy and Air Force among the eligible and enthusiastic local youth. During the lecture, the speaker emphasised that employment was a major concern of every youth in the border district. He added that the aspiring youth should prepare and participate in different recruitment rallies being conducted by recruitment agencies of the defence services.
Moot court at SMVDU
As part of the ongoing celebrations of 70th anniversary of the Indian Constitution, a Moot Court event was organised at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU). The event was held by the university social responsibility cell in collaboration with the board for cultural activities. The students of the university were grouped in five houses for intramural competitive events. The cases for an hour proceedings for each House were chosen through a lottery system. The Moot Court event was organised to familiarise the students with judicial proceedings and also to make them aware of their legal and moral responsibilities.
Graduation day at Phulwari
The kindergarten wing ‘Phulwari’ of Doon International School (DIS) presented a colourful cultural programme to celebrate Graduation Day. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Principal of the school, Vikesh Kaur complimented the graduates on their achievements.
Farewell at Penguin Paradise
To give farewell to the little UKG kids and Class II students, Penguin Paradise organised a farewell party on Thursdayday. Radio Jockey (RJ) Khushboo was the chief guiest of the event. Chairman of R M Public School, Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Rita Mengi, Penguin Paradise Incharge, Suman Lata and Co-incharge, Arjun Singh Rana were also present. The students presented cultural items to mark the occasion
Annual day celebrations
Genesis International Playway School celebrated its first annual day on the theme “Navras- the nine emotions”. The event planned by the teachers under the guidance of principal Manpreet Kour was presided over by chief guest Manish Gupta. Students presented colourful cultural items to mark the occasion.
