Leh, March 17

The Leh district administration in Ladakh Union Territory has notified Chuchot Yokma village, another hamlet of Chushot village, the epicentre of the outbreak of Covid 19 in the district.

The notification was issued today with the report of three more covid-19 cases and one of them was identified as a resident of Chushot Yokma village.

The District Magistrate, Leh, in its order, stated that the containment area was notified as a standard operating procedure set by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry to stop transmission, morbidity and mortality by the virus.

The District Magistrate, Leh, has also ordered to close all work places within the containment zone till further orders.
