The J&K Higher Education Department has constituted committees for validation of the e-content of various subjects and courses. For the Universities of Jammu/Kashmir, the committee comprises the Dean Academic Affairs University of Jammu/University of Kashmir as its convenor while the Dean, College Development University of Jammu/University of Kashmir is a member. The nodal principal Jammu/Kashmir is member secretary. Principal, Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) Jammu/Srinagar, deputy secretary and subject experts be nominated by the member secretary will be the members of the committee.

Candidates who had appeared in the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Higher Secondary Part-II (Class XII) annual examination of Winter Zone (Jammu Province) and allegedly resorted to the use of unfair means/misbehaviour at the examination centres, have recently appeared before the committee for scrutiny and disposal of unfair means/misconduct. The sub-committee of the school education board had examined the cases of the students and apprised them of the decisions taken.

Clerical staff meet to form panel

The clerical staff of the Education Department of Reasi district held a meeting to constitute a committee of the Clerical Association of the department under the affiliation of the Clerical Association of J&K. The committee was constituted during a meeting. Romesh Kumar Sharma was elected as president, Abdul Gaffar Sheikh as vice-president, Mohinder Singh Manhas as general secretary, Arshad Hussain as secretary, Mohammad Aneef as cashier and Nishu Langeh as assistant cashier.
