Delhi court refuses to pass order on Rashid Engineer’s regular bail plea

Additional sessions judge dismisses an application filed by the accused seeking to pronounce order on the bail application

A Delhi court on Tuesday refused to pass order on Jammu and Kashmir MP Rashid Engineer's regular bail application in a terror-funding case.

Additional sessions judge Chander Jit Singh dismissed an application filed by the accused seeking to pronounce order on the bail application.

The judge said at the present stage he could only decide the miscellaneous application and not the regular bail plea.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
