Mahashivratri Celebrations

Dewan Devi Playway celebrated Mahashivratri on the premises of the school. Students of kindergarten wing clad in Shiv Parvati dresses took part in the marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva and Parvati which was staged in the school.The principal of the school appreciated the students for their performance.

RM Public School

To get the blessings of Lord Shiva, RM Public School celebrated Mahashivratri on its premises. The students performed various dances, including Shiv tandav to mark the occasion. The principal of the school, Ravinder Kour, Trustee Rita Mengi and Incharge Sumanlata, besides staff members were also present during the celebrations.

Inter-collegiate symposium

The postgraduate (PG) department of computer science of Government College, Rajouri, organised an Inter-Collegiate Symposium on “Cyber crime and preventive measures” to create awareness about different prevailing cyber threats and preventive measures. Total 20 participants from different colleges participated in the symposium. Vikas Bhargav secured first position, whereas Wasim Akram and Wahid Sadeeq finished second and third, respectively. Principal of the College Prof (Dr) Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the event.

Matri Bhasha Diwas 2020

Government Degree College (GDC), Jindrah, organised several activities related to “Matri Bhasha Diwas 2020″on its premises. The programme was initiated by Nodal Officer Prof Paramjeet Singh who spoke on the importance of celebrating Matri Bhasha Diwas besides deliberating upon the activities of the programme. Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma, assistant professor, delivered a lecture on “Emergence and genesis of Dogri language”. Dr Ashaq Hussain also spoke about the language on this occasion. The students of the college recited various poems in Dogri.
