Dirty water collecting on road

The road near the Green Belt Park is flooded with drain water and locals are facing a lot of problems. The civic bodies have begun repairing the major drain passing through the area but in the process, the dirty water is being allowed to accumulate on the road. Workers should ensure that drain water is channelised properly.

Stray dog menace in Kathua town

A large number of stray dogs have created sense of fright among morning walkers and general public in Kathua town and its outskirts. Many incidents of dog bites have come to light recently and people are quite afraid to go for walk early in the morning and late evening. The municipal authority is a mere spectator and is taking no steps to curb it. The Kathua MC should launch a drive to deal with the canine menace.
