Dy CM reviews progress on capex works

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary today chaired a comprehensive review meeting of ongoing works under the District Capex Budget, assessing progress and issuing directives to ensure timely and efficient execution. The meeting was attended by Nowshera ADC Babu Ram Tandon, ACD Vijay Verma, and other district officers.

During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasised the importance of expediting the completion of ongoing developmental works while maintaining high-quality standards. He stressed that timely project execution is crucial to meet public expectations and improve the district’s infrastructure.

Highlighting the need for responsive governance, Chowdhary directed officials to address public grievances at the grassroots level. He also called for strict enforcement of the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), aiming to ensure transparency and accountability in public service delivery.
