Meanwhile, J&K BJP president Sat Sharma also led a team of senior party leaders to Kathua, Jasrota and Hiranagar Assembly constituencies, where incessant rains have caused damage to life and property. The visit was aimed at assessing the ground realities, expressing solidarity with the affected families, and ensuring that immediate relief and long-term assistance reaches the victims.

Sharma interacted with local residents and listened patiently to their grievances. He assured the victims that the BJP stands firmly with them in this hour of crisis and every possible help would be mobilised to bring relief and rehabilitation.
