Jammu, May 19

An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale hit Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

However, there were no reports of any damage, they said.

The earthquake occurred at 2.34 pm and its epicentre was Doda, according to the officials. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
