The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in New Delhi was misleading the country over the Chinese incursion in the Galwan valley of the Ladakh region.

The allegation was made after a party function, presided over by J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president GA Mir, held here to pay tributes to the jawans killed during the Chinese aggression.

“Our jawans laid down their lives fighting the Chinese incursion. They have given their blood for securing our motherland,” a statement issued after the function said.

The statement hit out at the Modi government for “allowing Chinese incursion in the Galwan valley and misleading the nation”, stating that the incident was “very unfortunate” and “deserved condemnation in strongest words”.
