The J&K National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA, Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, said under the leadership of CM Omar Abdullah, the government had successfully re-established communication with the people after a six-year hiatus.

A party statement read that during a tour of the Zadibal constituency, Tanvir engaged with the cross section of people to assess the impact of the recent heavy rains on ration distribution, power supply and basic utility services.

Tanvir highlighted the government’s efforts under Omar Abdullah’s leadership to re-establish connections with the people after a six-year absence.

“In the past, government officials rarely ventured into neighbourhoods and communities, leaving ordinary citizens feeling neglected. However, the current scenario has undergone a significant transformation. People now throng the secretariat, elected representatives engage with their constituents seeking their attention,” he said.
