Akhoon, in his address, commended the organisers for holding the camp, highlighting its benefits for the local population of Kargil. He noted that such initiatives not only provide essential healthcare services but also strengthen the relationship between doctors and the local community.

The CEC assured that LAHDC Kargil remains committed to providing the best healthcare services in the area. He also stated that several issues concerning District Hospital Kargil have been raised with the L-G of Ladakh and he anticipates their early resolution.

Akhoon said that it was due to his concerted efforts that the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) programme has been granted to the district, calling it an achievement for the region’s healthcare.

The CEC emphasised the importance of a compassionate approach by doctors towards patients and urged them to maintain a gentle and supportive demeanour.

Akhoon also praised the efforts of Health Department Kargil, Dream 4 a Change, Noora Hospital Srinagar and all volunteers involved in organising the camp and assured all possible support from the Hill Council Kargil.
