rising concerns over Covid.

Nearly 300 Kashmiri students are studying in various colleges and universities across Iran where educational institutions have been closed till the end of March.

Students have been appealing to the authorities to evacuate them as they are “running short of money and food supplies”.

Srinagar DC Shahid Chowdhary said 200 parents met the minister, who briefed them on the steps being taken to bring back their loved ones. The parents who met Jaishankar said that they were happy with the assurance given by the Foreign Minister. — TNS
