Jammu, January 19

The J&K Jatt Sabha, J&K (Rural) today held a meeting under its district rural unit president, Manjeet Singh. During the meeting, various issues of “jatt biradari” were discussed which included OBC status, compensation to farmers for their damaged crops and providing more government schemes to the border people.

Earlier, the district rural unit was also constituted, wherein Manjeet Singh was elected as president. Other elected office-bearers included Choudhary Sham Lal, Jasbir Singh, Choudhary Mahinder Singh, Sarvan Choudhary, Mohinder Singh, Sardar Jaswant, Balwant Choudahry and others.
