Vikas Kundal was today posted as Managing Director, J&K Project Construction Corporation, relieving M Raju, Secretary Planning, Development and Monitoring Department of the additional charge.

A government order issued here today said Kundal would continue to hold the charge of MD/CEO, Jammu Mass Rapid Transit Corporation and MD/CEO, Srinagar Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, in addition to his own duties.

Owais Ahmed is posted as Bandipora DC, while Bashir Ahmad Lone will be Vice-Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority. In addition, Lone will be the Additional Chief Executive Officer, Metropolitan Regulatory Authority, Srinagar. Arvind Karwani, DC, State Taxes, Enforcement (Kathua), headquartered at Lakhanpur, will be Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
